DARS: The Degree Audit Reporting System is the official document of record for L&S degrees, majors, and certificates.  DARS reports what requirements are completed, which are outstanding, and what courses and credits you need to complete your degree.  Students should use DARS in consultation with their academic adviser(s) each semester in order to stay on track for graduation.  ,

L&S Academic Catalog - The Undergraduate Catalog is a great place to learn about major and certificate requirements.

Departments & Academic Programs - This helpful list will provide links to UW-Madison department and academic program web pages.

General Education Requirements - All Letters & Science undergraduate students need to complete the general education requirements (Comm A, Comm B, QR A, QR B, ethnic studies).  Students should familiarize themselves with these requirements and speak with their undergraduate advisor(s) if they have any questions. 

Course Guide - This "Schedule of Classes" helps students locate classes and plan their semester.

Order a Transcript - When students apply for jobs, graduate or professional school, licenses for teaching, etc., they must order an official UW-Madison transcript.  This web site makes the ordering of transcripts a very easy process. 

BABS07 - If a student started his/her first college experience post high school graduation before May 21, 2007, this site will be very helpful in explaining the differences between the two degree programs.  Students can also switch to the 2007 Bachelor of ARts/Bachelor of Science degree requirements via this website.  For students who started their first college experience after May 21, 2007, they are already under the BABS07 degree requirements.  

BABS Worksheet:  Students can fill in your courses or potential courses to determine how these courses wil satisfy l general educations.
